ST 60 SE BUCKLAND NEWTON HENLEY

GV II

House, C17 origin but very largely remodelled probably early C20. Only
the ground floor left bay appears substantially C17. This is of
banded flint and stone with stone quoins. It has a 3-light stone mullioned
window with hollow chamfers and a returned label. Remainder of the house
is in brick with a slated gable-ended roof with brick stacks and casement
windows with glazing bars. The building is listed for its remaining C17
features rather than the C20 work.
