5/116 11-7-85 Holnest Park House

- II

Country House, now hotel, early to mid C19. Rendered walls with
hipped slate roof behind balustraded parapet. Originally symmetrical
facade. 4:3:4. Central pavilion projects and is pedimented. Sashes
with glazing bars. Flat hoods over. Beneath pediment is a Venetian
window. Left hand corners have Italianate towers. Statutes on
pediments. Centre bays bowed to rear. C20 extension of 5 bays to the
