Country House, C16 with much rebuilding of 1889. Coursed, squared
rubble, stone slated, gable-ended roof with stacks in various positions.
2 storeys and attic, 4 bays. Stone mullioned windows of 4-lights to
the first 2 storeys but of 3-lights in the porch and gabled dormers.
Projecting 2 storey porch in third bay from left. C19 staged external
stack to left of porch which included probably medieval head corbel
reset. Reset medieval figure of woman in flowing robes in west end
wall. Internal features (RCHM) C16 plaster frieze in west end of
south range.
