5/12 Wantsley Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C17. L-Plan. Dressed stone walls. Asbestos slate
roof and stone gable-copings. Coupled stone stacks with cornice at
east gable end. One rendered stack at right hand ridge. 2 storeys.
East elevation with 3 windows, 3- and 4-light stone mullions (ovolos).
Iron casements with lead lights. Separate labels over ground floor
windows. One inserted C20 2-light stone mullion. Front door, left of
centre, plank and studded, C20. Flat stone lintel and plain jambs.
Continuous label over. South elevation has stone mullions of later
date (c.C18) with hollow chamfers. Stone porch with depressed arch
head and pitched slate roof and gable-coping.
