5/72 The Old Farmhouse

GV II

Detached Farmhouse. Early C18. Rubble-stone walls, with dressed stone quoins.
Thatch roof, half-hipped at each end. C20 brick stack, on ridge, right of
centre. 2 storeys. 3 windows, (irregular fenestration) 2-light wooden casements
with glazing-bars, wooden frames, cills and lintels, C18 and C20 renewals.
3-light casement immediately left of front door. Wood and glass C20 porch, with a
stone slab roof, right of centre. C20 inner door. Blocking of a doorway
immediately right of porch, now a 2-light casement.
