SY 68 SW CHICKERELL WEST STREET

Detached House. Early C17. Lias rubble and coursed Blue Lias walls. Concrete
pantile roof. Stone gable-copings with scroll kneelers. Renewed stone stack
at left hand gable, dressed stone stack at right hand ridge. 2 storeys. 4 windows,
2-, 3- and 4-light stone mullions, hollow-chamfered. No label. Wooden casements
with horizontal glazing-bars. Front door, slightly left of centre, with moulded
stone jambs, stopped, and depressed-arch head. Fielded panel door, with one glass
light, C20. The attached barn at right hand end is not of special interest.
