SY 68 SW LANGTON HERRING LOWER FARM

6/128 Lower Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Later C17, with C18 refashioning. Rubble-stone walls, rendered
and given artificial rusticated stone quoins in C18. Slate roof with gable-ends.
Brick stacks at left hand gable, ridge centre, and right hand gable. 2 storeys.
4 windows, 3-light wooden casements with one horizontal glazing-bar. One 2-light
casement window in attic, with lead lights and early glass. Front door, flush-
panelled with wooden framing, C19. Rendered porch with a pitched slate roof.
Interior: lobby-entrance plan.
