Farm buildings round a yard. Mid C19, by B. Ferrey. Stable-block and barn.
Rubble-stone walls and dressed stone quoins. Clay-tile roofs with tile ridge.
Ashlar stone gable-copings with level feet and moulded kneelers. Stacks, tall,
of brick with large square caps and chamfered bases, three ranged on eastern ridge,
one on south-west gable. H-plan, with longer arms to south. I½ storeys. 4
windows to central arm, and 2 windows to each of the south side arms. Fixed
rectangular windows with cast-iron glazing-bars, chamfered jambs. Tall dormers,
gabled and with moulded kneelers. Fixed windows with cast-iron glazing-bars.
Large doorway at centre, with 4-centred head and straight-chamfered jambs.
2-leaf plank door. Through-passage. Smaller 4-centred doorway over to loft,
under a gabled head, carried on moulded kneelers. Attached yard walls, C19,
enclosing yard and with octagonal gate-piers and moulded cap-stones.
