SY 58 NE LITTLEBREDY LITTLEBREDY VILLAGE

GV II

Detached Lodge. Mid C19, by Ferrey. Brick walls in Flemish bond, with rusticated
stone quoins. Half-timbered upper storey, jettied out. Steep-pitched clay tile
roofs with projecting eaves and moulded bargeboards. Clustered brick and octagonal
stone stacks, immediately behind the ridge. I½ storeys. Irregular fenestration,
2-light cast-iron casements with glazing-bars lozenged at the intersections in
chamfered wooden frames with dressed stone surrounds. Ground floor windows to west,
and window over south porch have pronounced hood-moulds. 2-light canted oriel on
east end wall with intact casements and moulded corbelling. South porch with
rusticated stone quoins and steeply pitched gable over. 4-centred doorway with
stone jambs. Plank door with wood framing.
