Detached Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed rubble-stone walls with dressed stone
quoins. Slate roof with gable-ends. C19 brick stacks at each gable. 2 storeys
with cellars and attics. 3 windows, sashes with glazing-bars, (4 panes width),
dressed stone jambs with lintels, keys and stone cills. Front doorway at centre
with dressed stone jambs and head, door with lower flush panels and 2 upper lights.
Fanlight with radiating glazing-bars, C19. Wooden porch with gabled slate roof
over, C19. Upper floor blockings on east gable wall with a ground floor sash,
and door at right hand. Attached rear wing at north-west corner, same materials
and a C20 brick stack at rear gable. Renewed 2-light casements, and a plank door
in the re-entrant angle. Attached front garden wall, early C19. Low rubble-stone
wall in a semi-circle round the front of the house, acting as a retaining wall.
