Farmhouse

GV II

Detached Farmhouse. Late C17. Rubble-stone walls and dressed stone plat band,
and dressed stone quoins. Slate roof with stone slabs at eaves. Stone gable-
copings with scrolled kneelers. Rendered stacks at left and right hand gables.
2 storeys with attics. 3 windows, 3-light stone mullions, straight-chamfered,
C17. Wooden casements, without glazing-bars. Front door, left of centre, with
moulded jambs and depressed-arch head. Upstairs windows are 2-light wooden
casements with glazing-bars, in the original openings. Wooden cills and lintels.
C19 flush-panel door, with 2 lights in the upper half. C20 porch. The attached
south-west range, is not of special interest.
