ST 60 NW BATCOMBE Redford Farmhouse

Detached Farmhouse. Late Cl7, or earlier, with refenestration,
C19 and C20. Rubble-stone base and chalk-block walls with a
sleeper buttress at right front, mainly brick. Thatch roof,
gabled at left hand, and hipped at right hand. Brick stacks at
left hand gable and ridge right of centre C18. 1½ storeys.
3 windows, 2- and 3-light wooden casements, with wooden cills.
Plank door, left of centre, C19. Brick-jambed porch, with
gabled slate roof, C20.
