Detached Public House. Mid C17, with C18 and C19 refenestration.
Chalk-block walls, on rubble-stone plinth, rendered for two-thirds
of its length at right hand. Slate roofs with gable-ends. Brick
stacks, at left hand gable, two on ridge, and one on right hand
gable. 2 storeys, 4 windows: 3-light stone mullions at left
hand end, sash-windows with glazing-bars for rest of elevation,
separate returned labels of former C17 windows over. Plank door,
towards left end, weather-boarded, C19. C20 door towards right
hand end. Interior: deep-chamfered ceiling-beams, compartmented,
C17.
