ST 6601 CERNE ABBAS THE FOLLY, (north side)

Villa in grounds. Mid C19. Stuccoed walls, painted, with plinth
and first floor string extension in brick. Low-pitched, hipped
slate roof with boxed eaves to main block, plain eaves to extension.
Two rendered stacks on ridge of main block. East entrance front:
2½ storeys and half-basement. 2 windows, good C19 sashes with
glazing-bars, windows down to plinth at ground floor, central
oculus with radiating glazing-bars. Square, flat-roofed porch
at centre, with a pair of C20 glazed doors. To right, a brick
with flint extension. South front has 20 pane sashes to ground
floor, and 16 pane to first floor; two small hipped dormers.
West front has a 2-storey square bay window, probably added later.
Interior: C19 slide baluster staircase and window-shutters.
