ST 50 SE RAMPISHAM UPHALL

GV II

Mid Cl7, with some C19 refenestration. Rubble stone and chalk-
block walls. Thatch roof, with gable-end at left hand, and
catslide at right hand. Brick stack at left hand gable,
and original left hand gable. 1½ storeys. East elevation
5-6 windows, (irregular fenestration), 2-light stone mullion
(ovolo) to left ground, rest are C20 2-light metal casements
probably in original openings. 3 eyebrow dormers (wood
casements). Front door in west elevation: right of centre,
plank C19 with wood lintel over and brick jambs. Pentice-
roofed porch. Two-leaf plank doors at north-end, (former
carriage entrance).
