Roadside cottage. C18, with some C20 alterations. Rubble stone walls,
roughcast and painted. Thatch roof, hipped. C20 brick stack at centre.
1½ storeys. 2 windows originally, with extra one to left, 2- and 3-light
wood casements with glazing-bars. Wood cills. Door, left of centre, and
with upper half glazed, C20. Interior, mid chamfered lingitudinal ceiling
beam with tongued stops. Open fireplace has straight chamfered hood lintel
and plastered stone jambs. Dog-leg stair position immediately behind fireplace.
