Detached Farmhouse. Dated RB 1664, repaired 1833 on east gable. Coursed
dressed stone walls. Slate roof, with stone gable-copings. Parallel ranges.
Rendered stone stacks on front gables. Brick stacks and a stone finial on
the rear gable. Two storeys. 3 windows, hollow-chamfered stone mullions,
renewed C19, of 4 lights, to ground floor and 3-lights above. Iron casements
and lead lights. Separate labels over. Door at centre, panelled and with two
top lights, C18. C20 wood lintel over. (RCHM, Dorset I, p 102 (13)).
