Barn. Early C16. Rubble-stone walls, with dressed stone for porch and
buttresses. Two buttresses to south of porch, one to north. These have
two set-offs each. Pantile roofs with gable ends, re-tiled 1985. Square
opposed porches with two-leaf plank doors, and door-posts. Stable-door
towards south end of east elevation. Interior: roof-construction of
6 bays (5 trusses), mid-crucks with arch-braced collars. 3 sets of
through-purlins, the lower two with wind-bracing. Foot of cruck rests
on larger stone block within the walling. (RCHM, Dorset I, p 176(1)).
