Detached farmhouse, C17. Dated on door lintel "Istas Aedes Restituit
Refecit J.R.P.G. A.S. MDCCCXCII", (1892) Repairs. Dressed stone walls.
Clay-tile roofs with gable ends and stone gable-copings, moulded kneelers.
Ashlar stone stacks at gable ends. Two storeys and attics. 3 windows,
ovolo-moulded stone mullions, with straight dripstones over ground floor,
4 light to ground and 3 light to first floor. Wooden casements with
glazing-bars. Front doorway at centre with depressed-arch head. Recess-
panel and glazed door, late C19. Pitched stone canopy, carried on moulded
stone brackets. Attached front garden wall, dressed stone, with coping-
stones, ramped up to the central gateway. (RCHM, Dorset I, p 104(5)).
