Dairy House, now pair of cottages, of one building. C17, restored in
C19 and C20. Squared rubble-stone walls, with a buttress on the south
gable end. Stone slate roofs, with stone gable-copings. Stone stacks,
left of centre on ridge and at right hand gable, stack embrasure on
rear range. Two storeys. 3 windows, 2-light wood-framed casements with
rectangular leaded lights. Entrance into inner porch with moulded jambs
and depressed-arch head. Two plank doors and strap hinges within lobby,
C20. Short rear range to south-east of 2 storeys and 2 windows, 2-light
iron casements with lead lights. (RCHM, Dorset I, p 198(3)).
