Former coffee tavern, now private house. Dated GB 1796 in a brick surround,
probable earlier core. Rubble-stone walls. Thatch roof with gable ends.
Brick stacks at left hand gable, and at ridge centre. Two storeys. 3 windows,
mainly 2-light wood casements with glazing-bars, wood cills. Yorkshire
sliding-sash at left ground. Segmental brick arches over ground floor windows.
Doors: left of centre, plank with glazed upper half, C20. Right of centre,
plank with a wood frame, C19. Wooden sign-board with Coffee Tavern in
capitals affixed to front wall, C19.
