Two attached cottages, of one build. Mid C17, with refenestration. Rubble-stone
walls. Thatch roof, with gable end at left hand, and half-hipped at right hand.
C20 brick stack at left hand gable, and at ridge right of centre. Two storeys.
5 windows in total, 3-light and 2-light wood casements with glazing-bars, in
original openings. Wood cills and lintels. Doorways: Summer Cottage, at left
centre, plank door with one glass light. Summer Lane Cottage: towards right
hand end, plank door and wood frame, C19.
