Detached Cottage, formerly three. Early C18 or earlier with some C19 refenestration.
Coursed rubble-stone walls, and chalk-block gable end. Thatch roof, half-hipped
at left hand, and gabled at right hand. C20 red brick stacks, in from left hand
gable, and at right hand gable. 1 1/2 storeys. 5 windows in total (ground floor).
Mainly 2-light iron casements with lead lights, set in wood frames and pegged,
wood lintels; 2-light-cast-iron casement with glazing-bars, wood lintels. Plank
door with 2 top lights, at centre, C19. (RCHM. Dorset I, p.108(3))
