Farmhouse

Detached Barn. Late C18. Rubble-stone walls, with a square projecting porch
at centre of north side, with loose-boxes in either side. Slate roof, hipped
to ends, and continuous over loose-boxes. Sliding metal doors to the opposing
entrances, C20. Interior: Roof-construction, hammer-beam and collar construction,
with diagonal braces to hammer-beams. Four trusses, (3 bays). 2 sets of butted
through-purlins. Cf. Barn at Liberty Farm, Halstock (q.v.).
