House) and 2 and
attached front walls.
GV II
Two semi-detached cottages, built as one range. Mid C18. Dressed stone
walls with ashlar stone quoins. Slate roof with gable ends and stone gable-
copings. Brick stacks, C18 and C19, at left hand gable, ridge right of centre,
and right hand gable. Two storeys. 5 windows, 3-light square stone mullions
with moulded architraves, C20 metal casements with lead lights. Doorways, left
of centre, and right of centre, dressed stone jambs and square heads. The Old
House, right, has glazed C19 door, stone porch with gabled stone roof. No.2,
left, has plank and muntin door, C20. Rear range to no.1 same elevations and
detail, brick stack on rear gable. Attached front walls, rubble-stone walls,
ramped at left corner, with stone copings. Entrances to houses have dressed
stone jambs.
