MELBURY OSMOND
ST 50 NE YEOVIL ROAD

Detached Lodge. Dated 1887 on north range. Rubble-stone walls with dressed
stone quoins. Clay-tile roofs, with stone gable-copings and obelisk finials.
Stone stack with ashlar quoins at the centre. T-plain with lower range to
south, making it cruciform. 1 1/2 storeys. Irregular fenestration of one, two
and three-light straight-chamfered stone mullions, separate labels. Iron
casements without glazing-bars. The east end wall has a canted bay window
of mullions. Front doorway on north end wall, has moulded stone jambs and
depressed arch in a square head, with label and date over. Plank door.
