Cottage, formerly, two, attached to former laundry. Mid C18. Coursed
rubble-stone walls. Thatch roof, with gable ends. Brick stacks at left
hand gable, ridge right of centre and right hand gable. 1 1/2 storeys. 5 windows,
cast-iron casements with glazing-bars, wood cills and lintels. Four half-
dormers: 2-light cast-iron casements with glazing-bars, wood cills. 2 doorways,
plank door, left of centre, plank door right of centre, with weatherboard.
Trelliswork porch on each door. Rubble-stone outhouse and tile roof. Plank
door to coal-store and privy. Interior: fireplace in the N.E. end has
slight-chamfered bressumer.
