Single cottage, built as pair of semi-detached cottages. 1843. Dressed
limestone walls. Thatch roof with gable ends. Brick stacks at gable
ends, renewed early C20. Twin thatch outshuts at rear. 1½ storeys.
3 windows, 2 light wood casements with glazing-bars, wood cills.
Unusual gauged stone voussoirs, flared and close jointed. 3 eyebrow
dormers over, 2 light C20 metal casements. Front doorway, left of
centre, with some voussoirs, plank and muntin door, C20. Door in the
north end wall, formerly to No. 3, is C20 and glazed. Interior:
each dwelling has a living kitchen with small pantry and staircase
partitioned off at the back and a projecting outhouse. Part of group
