Public House. Early C19, heavily altered internally, C20. Brick
walls in Flemish bond. Clay tile roofs with stone slate eaves.
Brick stacks at left gable, ridge centre and right gable. Two
storeys. 5 windows, sashes with glazing bars, wood cills and lintels.
Doorways: a brick porch left of centre has a pentice tiled roof,
and C20 panelled door. Right of centre, plank door with one top
light, C19. (R.C.H.M. Dorset II, p.138 (14)).
