including attached
farm building

GV II

House with attached farm buildings. Probably early C18. Rubble stone walls -
front wall plastered. Thatched roof with coped gable at left end, brick end
stacks. L-shaped plan. Rear wing of rubble stone with slate roof. 2 storeys.
Thatched stone porch with C20 ledged door. Ground floor has 2 C20 bay windows
with casements with lead lights. First floor has 3 c20 casements with lead
lights. Internally, some exposed ceiling beams. Attached to house on right
a 2-storeyed farm building, of rubble stone with slate roof with coped gable;
now converted to residential use, with C20 windows. Right of this an attached
single-storey farm building, of stone with double Roman tile roof - similarly
converted. Included for group value. RCHM Monument 5. (Dorset, Vol. I)
