Bent Tree House

GV II

Detached house. Mid-late C18. Rubble stone walls, thatched roof with coped
gables, one stone stack at left end, - plastered stack at right end. Later
extension at right end, of rubble stone with concrete tiled roof. 6-panel
door in moulded stone surround. Ground floor has 2 stone mullioned windows
in moulded stone surrounds. First floor has 3 similar windows - the surrounds
patched in cement. In the extension, one metal casement on ground floor, one
timber casement on first floor, in cement surrounds. Single-storey slate-roofed
lean-to at rear, with windows with cast iron glazing. Raised gabled section
in centre.
