Detached cottage. Probably mid-C18. Rubble stone walls with ashlar quoins
and dressings. Slate roof with stone eaves courses and coped gables; brick
end stacks. 2 storeys. Panelled door in moulded stone surround. Ground
floor has 2 stone mullioned windows - flat mullions - with casements with
glazing bars, in moulded stone surrounds. 3 similar windows on first floor.
C20 weatherboarded extension at right end. Cast iron pump at front of house.
Boundary walls of rubble stone. (RCHM Monument 8. (Dorset. Vol.1))
