10/87 Manor Dairy Farmhouse

GV II

Dairy farmhouse. Early C17. Rubble-stone walls, rendered. Double-Roman
clay-tile roof with gable ends and stone gable-copings. Stone and rendered
stacks. Two storeys. 3 windows, irregular fenestration, mainly 3-light
wood casements with rectangularly leaded lights at right top. 3-light
easements at centre lights the staircase. Plank door, left of centre, in
deep square reveal, C19. Interior: stair-position unusual, on front wall
immediately right of door passage. Heavy-chamfered ceiling beams in ground
floor rooms. Plank-and-muntin panelling, reset, in hallway, C16. Bolection-
moulded Ham stone fireplace in top left room, C17.
