The Alcove

Garden house. C18. Brick wall, containing an elliptical recess under
elliptical stone arch, flanked by stone pilasters. Moulded arch with
projecting keystone. Wall swept up to centre, with moulded coping and stone
finial. The whole structure raised on 2 semi-circular stone steps. This is
the garden of The Alcove, a mid-C20 house, of no special interest.
