Barn and stable. Probably early C18. Barn adjoining road, has rubble stone
walls and tiled roof, with coped gable at east end. On road frontage, a
pair of plain barn doors, raised above road level. On north front, facing
the farmyard a large gabled cart-porch - the gable weatherboarded. Lean-to
extension right of this. Small projection at right end, with 1/2-hipped roof.
Attached to barn at east end a stable (adjoining Chapel Lane). The rear
wall of rubble stone, front wall weatherboarded timber framing. Tiled roof.
2 storeys. Stable doors. Hay loft over approached by stone steps. Included
for group value.
