PUDDLETOWN

House, part used as garage and shop. Probably early C19. Plastered walls,
thatched roof, one brick stack at right end, one near left end. 2 storeys.
Panelled door with fanlight. Second door to shop near left end. Ground
floor has 2 sashes with bordered glazing, 3 similar sashes on first floor.
Rear wing, along New Street, of similar construction, probably former
outbuilding, now used as shop, has one casement with glazing bars, some C20
metal casements, and shuttered loft window. (RCHM Monument 7 Dorset Vol
