Detached house, formerly 2 cottages - part used as restaurant. Late
C18-early C19. Brick walls on rubble stone base. Hipped thatched roof;
central brick stack. One storey and attic. Ground floor has 8 casements -
2 replacing earlier doors - some with cast iron glazing, some with matching
timber glazing bars. Attic has four ½-dormers with casements with cast iron
glazing. Entrance in left end wall. C20 single storey rear extension.
Internally, 2 large open fireplaces with timber lintels and bread ovens.
Some exposed ceiling beams.
