Detached house, former farmhouse. C17. Brick walls in English bond,
thatched roof, brick end stacks. 2 storeys. Plat band at first floor level
in left section. Near left end, brick porch with thick walls and plinth.
C20 panelled door. Left of door a small recess - possibly for lamp. Ground
floor has 3 casements with glazing bars; those right of porch under
segmental arches, one left of porch with timber lintel. First floor has 3
casements with glazing bars. C20 garage extension at right end. Ground
floor room at right end has large open fireplace with timber lintel. Some
exposed ceiling beams. (RCHM Monument 5 Dorset Vol III)
