11/202 Stafford Farm House

GV II

Farm house, c1837. Brick walls, part plastered. Hipped slate roof, some
slopes with stone eaves courses. Brick stacks at rear of front range, in
centre of rear range and at end of rear range. T-shaped plan. 2 storeys.
On main front, ornamental iron verandah with concave corrugated sheet roof.
Flush panel door with fanlight. Ground floor has 2 sashes with glazing
bars. 3 similar sashes on first floor. Rear wing of similar construction -
windows mainly casements with glazing bars. Internally closed string stair
with plain balusters, moulded handrail and newel. Several contemporary hob
grates. Generally unspoiled. (RCHM Monument 15. Dorset Vol II)
