Includes No 16 and 18 High Street. On corner of Cook Row and High Street. Early C19.
Brick walls, slate roof on wide bracketted eaves. Three storeys, Facade divided into
bays by slightly projecting brick pilasters. Ground floor facing Cook Row has a
modern shop window on corner, and a flush door in round-headed opening with ornamental
fanlight. One double-hung sash window. First and second floors each have 2 double-
hung sash windows with glazing bars. Elevation to High Street has, on the ground
floor, modern shop fronts with continuous fascia and capping mould. First and second
floors each have 3 double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Projecting keystone
to centre window on first floor.
