C19 probably associated with the Mill. Brick walls, modern tiled roof.
Three storeys and attics. Single storey lean-to at south end, of similar
construction to the main building. Later single storey extension on east, with
corrugated iron roof. Elevation to West Borough has a range of 5 casement
windows on each of the ground and first floors. These have contrasting brick
arches and are set in recessed panels the full height of the building. The
south elevation, facing Knobcrook Lane, has similar windows on the first, second
and attic floors. On this front, a panel set below the first floor window is
inscribed; "Baden Powell Boy Scouts, gymnasium and hall 1924". This must refer
to a later use of the building. Tall circular brick chimney west of the main
building. Brick boundary wall to Vest Borough. Included for group value.
