Early C19. Pair of houses with central doorway, probably leading to a through
passage. Brick walls. Slate roofs behind parapets. Brick stacks. Three storeys.
Stone platband at first floor level. In each house, ground floor has entrance
doorway with 6 panel moulded panel door and glazed fanlight with Gothic style
glazing bars, set in a recessed opening with gauged brick arches. Two round headed
double hung sash windows with glazing bars - Gothic style glazing in head - also set
in recessed arches with gauged brickwork. First and second floors each have 3 double
hung sash windows with glazing bars. Good unspoiled facade. RCHM Monument 68.
