Late C18-early C19. Pair of similar houses. Roughcast rendered walls, slate roofs.
Brick stacks. Two storeys and attics. No 50 has, on ground floor, a 4 panel door
in a timber porch with gabled roof on console brackets and moulded pilasters. North
of this, a second door. Also on ground floor, one double hung sash window with
glazing bars, and one recent bay window with casements. First floor has 2 double
hung sash windows with glazing bars. No 52 has a similar entrance but with a 6 panel
door. North of this, a canted bay window with double hung sashes with glazing bars -
probably an insertion. South of the door, one double hung sash window with glazing
bars. Two similar windows on first floor. Each house has one dormer in the attic,
with slightly curved lead roof, and side hung casements.
