Original building probably mid-Cl9, with later extension to south. Original
building has colourwashed brick walls, with rendered details, roof concealed
behind parapet. Two storeys. In the centre, the former doorway now altered to
form a window, in a classical surround with a slightly projecting entablature
carried on pilasters. Ground floor has two 3-light double hung sash windows with
raised rendered surrounds and simple cornices on console brackets. First floor
has 3 double hung sash windows with similar surrounds. At attic level a projecting
rendered cornice at base of parapet. Projecting rendered quoins each end of
facade. Late extension to south has stone walls and a flat roof behind parapet.
Single storey. Lower entrance with entablature on Tuscan columns. On the road
frontage a triple Venetian window with double hung sashes and a round headed
double hung sash window with projecting stone quoins and voussoirs. Parapet
partly solid, partly balustraded, built off projecting cornice.
