C17 origin. Originally timber framed but somewhat restored. Walls part timber
framed, part brick. Tiled roof with stone eaves course, brick stack. One storey
and attics. Ground floor has modern door and windows possible in original openings.
Attic has 2 modern half dormers with flat roofs and casement windows. Side
elevation has plastered walls with imitation timber painted on. Internally,
considerably altered, but ground floor retains a large brick chimney stack with
stone jambs and timber lintol. Remains of possible curing chamber. On the first
floor, one original timber framed partition survives, with a blocked door opening,
and braced tie-beam. Blocked oak mullioned window in the original rear wall.
