C17 origin, originally timber framed, altered and refaced in C18. Rendered walls,
modern pantiled roof, rendered stacks. Two storeys. Ground floor has one double
hung sash window with centre bar only. Doorway, leading to side passage, has
flush panel door with moulded canopy on console brackets. C19 shop front to
The Coppersmiths, with timber surround and glazed door. First floor has 2 double
hung sash windows with glazing bars. Internally there are signs of timber framed
construction. Attached outbuilding at rear, largely rebuilt, was formerly a
smithy, and the brick forge remains, partly reconstructed.
