Probably C18. Balm has brick walls and tiled roofs with stone eaves courses.
Single storey. North-east entrance with weather-boarded gable, and large
timber doors. Slit windows. South-east entrance blocked. Simple tie-and-
collar-beam roof. Coach-house attached to barn on west has brick walls and
tiled roof with slate eaves courses. Single storey. Timber ledged doors.
Brew House attached to coach-house on west has brick walls and pyramidal
tiled roof with stone eaves courses and louvred timber turret. Two storeys.
Large timber doors. First floor has casement windows with lead lights.
Walled garden attached to barn on south. High brick walls, buttressed, with
moulded brick copings. Blocked opening with terra-cotta runs, on stone blocks
and piers. Greenhouse and remains of pergola along north wall.
