Probably C18 origin, enlarged and altered C19 and recently. Rear wing, the
present kitchen, probably the original C18 house. Large C19 front range
added, at right angles to this.
Front range has plastered walls, thatched roof, brick stacks. Two storeys.
Wide flat-roofed porch with part-glazed door. Ground floor has five modern
double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. First floor has five similar
windows. Rear wing has brick walls and thatched roof. One storey and attics.
Single-storey slate roofed lean-to along west side.
Modern garage extension at rear.
One deep chamfered ceiling beam in ground floor of rear wing. Large chimney
stack here - fireplace built up.
