Late C16 early C17. Walls part timber-framed with brick infilling. Part brick.
Thatched roof, brick stack. L-shaped plan of hall and cross-wing. One storey
and attics. Modern glazed porch with part-glazed door. Ground floor has one
casement window, in hall. Attic has one casement window, in cross-wing.
Internally, hall has deeply chamfered ceiling beams, and large open fireplace,
part blocked. This house may have originated as an open-hall building.
