7/5 Hare Lane Farmhouse

Farmhouse, probably C18 but much altered at various later periods. Possibly
containing an earlier core. Of 2 attached ranges, that to the right slightly
lower than that to the left. Flemish-bond brickwork with some flared headers.
Thatched roof, ½ hipped to the left. Brick stacks to the right of each range.
Single-storey with attics, irregular fenestration. Ground floor has 2 C19,
12-pane sashes flanking a panelled door. The doorway appears to lead to a lobby
entrance. Single dormer with a 2-light casement. (RCHM, Dorset, vol. V, p.14,
no.29.)
